I rely on my phone for a 100% of my photos and video and while very convenient, it is also a really quick way to drain my phone battery.
It is not a secret that smart phones have revolutionize the way people take and share their photos and videos, and it is also no secret that because of all we do with our phones on a daily basis, that the batteries tend to last not nearly long enough.
The battery draining is not a big deal as long as you have a way to charge your phone, so I keep a couple of phone chargers around the house and one in my car of course.
The real challenge is to keep your phone charged when you do not have access to a power source that will allow you to keep your phone charge and running.
Charging on the go
One of the very first things I do when I know I am going to be traveling is charge my personal travel power bank.
There are tons of these handy devices in the market but not all of them perform the same and I am very specific when it comes to my power bank and want to make sure it has certain features.
I want my power bank to be small in size but without lacking the power necessary to recharge my smart phone.
I also want my power bank to charge quickly.
I need my phone charged and I need it charged fast! It is a fact that not all power banks have the capability to charge your phone as quick as you might want it. So a power bank with fast charging is what you really need.
Fast power bank charging
Because you need your power bank to be up and running when you need it, only a fast charging power bank is ideal.
Let’s be honest while having the extra power source is a must, we can do without extra weight or bulkiness, so lightweight and compact are two of the features I look for whenever I am in the market for a power bank.
Some power banks are specifically designed for iPhones and some others have been designed for Android users like me. While my phone is a Samsung (Android), I also own an iPod that I like to bring along when I travel and do not want to bring different cables.
I have been using MyCharge HubMax and love it. It has all the features I mentioned before and then some. The rechargeable 10050mAh portable charger can charge smart phones and tablets a lot faster than any other portable power bank I have tried and yes, it has different prongs for different devices!
Another product that I had no idea I needed until I had it and decided I can’t live without is the PowerGear Sport.
A protective Charging Case for Wearables…Yes, there is such a thing and it works wonderfully.
Sleek design case for your fitbit and a selection of other wearables that allows you to keep your tracker protected when not in use while charging your unit.
You can also store your replacement band so all your gear is in one place and easy to reach…Did I mention it is also really cute?
Lightweight and easy to bring anywhere you go, this can be easily stored in a carryon or backpack when you are one the go.
The good news? It is one sale right now for only $19.99!
