I have been hearing about the benefits of jojoba ever since I can remember, so even when I was younger, I would look for products that had jojoba in their list of ingredients. However it wasn’t until I discovered the Jojoba company product that I really fell in love with Jojoba. This is when I personally saw the kinds of results I can get from the product. This is also the reason why I think it is an item that every woman needs in their beauty routine.
What make jojoba such a great component?
Jojoba is the only known plant to produce wax esters which are actually found in your skin.
The jojoba, is naturally hypoallergenic and has powerful antioxidants along with Omega 6, 9, fatty acids and Vitamins A,D and E. When you apply this mix of elements to your skin, you are giving your skin the benefit of the wax esters ( oily / waxy solution called sebum) … 25 to 30% of your skin’s sebum is actually made up of wax esters. The main purpose of wax esters is to retain the moisture in the your skin which helps keeping it looking and feeling firm.
The Jojoba Company
I love all the products I have tried from the Jojoba Company and these are just 3 of my very favorite!
Antioxidant Hydrating Mist
A real treat for your skin, this light way mist is not only refreshing, but also very versatile thanks to the chamomile, green tea and of course the jojoba that are part of the ingredients. It calms and moisturizes your skin…Great for when you need a quick fix for you skin. I have the tendency to get dry patches and this does wonders to prevent that. It also helps me after sun exposure and when the weather changes and the skin gets tight!
You can call this mist a multi tasker; I personally like to carry it in my bag for whenever I feel that my skin can use a little help through the day and I also like to apply it after my morning or afternoon shower.
The Antioxidant Hydrating Mist has a retail price of $29.95.
100% Natural Jojoba Lip Balm
I like using the jojoba on my skin and I certainly love using I on my lips…This might be a just me thing, but for whatever reason, I frequently forget to apply balm on my lips which lands me with cracked lips quite often, so I HAVE TO HAVE something to help me prevent this with me at all times. By the same token, my daughter gets the same way, so I want to have something that I can use on her too.
This lip balm is simply what we both needed; the brand uses locally grown jojoba as a base to create a completely natural lip balm that I have no problems using on both my lips and my daughter lips.
The Balm leaves your lips unbelievably smooth and soft. The all natural vegan lip balm is great for the whole family, so yes this is another product that you can find in my bag at any given time.
Besides the Australian Jojoba, the lip balm also includes Kakadu Plum Oil which helps create a moisture barrier while soothing and protecting chapped lips .
The Vitamin E rich Coconut Oil helps lock in moisture to keep your lips nourished and hydrated. There are no chemicals, colors or preservatives in the ingredients along with plant alternative to beeswax for those that might have an allergy problem!
100% Natural Jojoba Lip Balm has a retail price of $9.95
Tuberose and Clementine Body Soufflé
Whipped body cream with subtle blend of tuberose ( a fragrant flower that is also known as the lady of the night because the flower’s scent is stronger at night time) , clementine, and rose geranium for a nice and soothing feeling featuring long lasting hydration with jojoba, cocoa, shea and mango butter that provides you with a deep moisturizer, balanced and smooth.
I was a bit concerned that the scent was going to be too strong, but it is not at all. A,s a matter of fact, it is very light and a perfect addition for after my shower…It goes on the skin very easy and leaves you with a warm feeling… I think this has to do with the Citrus Clementina or any of the other natural ingredients, whatever it is, I am left with a relaxed feeling that is welcome at any time!
The skin feels immediately smoother and rejuvenated… and the scent has a calming scent that I have fallen in love with.
Tuberose and Clementine Body Soufflé has a retail price of $39.95
If you are looking to make a nice gift basket for mother’s day these would make a wonderful gift for less than $90.00
